Hi there-
My name is Ania, and I’m an aspiring User Experience and Interactive Designer (UX/UI).
I have an in-depth background in graphic design, marketing, and data management. Currently, I work at STIHL as an Advertising and Creative Manager; it’s a hybrid role where I design and manage regional advertising.
I develop creative strategies, write briefs, and manage five agencies to ensure our marketing efforts meet brand guidelines and campaign deadlines. Additionally, I oversee a team of four in creating 18 interactive catalogs used across the US. Finally, we maintain a product database to ensure all information, including photography and pricing, is accurate.
Before STIHL, I worked as a Senior Art Director at advertising agencies, ideating and designing online advertising and promotional campaigns. I worked on brands such as Delta, PepsiCo, and Kimberly-Clark. It was gratifying working and I enjoyed being surrounded by so many talented and creative people.
Today, I’m working on my Master’s Degree in UX/UI at Quinnipiac University. I have a passion for fun, quirky design, and I appreciate the hard work that goes into developing a successful piece of digital or print media. I have a strong desire to work in the technology sector and I hope my hard work at Quinnipiac will help pave the way to a new career.
Why is my site named “To Mulberry Street?”
Reading is one of my favorite hobbies, and I especially enjoy reading children’s books with my two young daughters. One of my favorite books is And To Think I Saw That On Mulberry Street by Dr. Seuss. I simply love how the main character, Marco, sees a simple horse and carriage on his walk home from school and lets his imagination turn it into a wild and colorful parade. The name, To Mulberry Street, is a reminder to stay open-minded and look at ordinary things in new ways.
